They found very similar indicators to those found in September 2022 and November 2022, which both experienced the most significant declines in value during the prior cycle. With respect to trading, the new model uses various combinations of multiple leading indicators based on trends of behaviours observed in market participants and their preferences or limitations. The combination of all different types of leading-indicator data is intended to not only provide insight into future price movements but also into how the entire market is changing as a whole, to ultimately help market participants to determine where to focus their investments. <h2>Bottom formation does not equal immediate upside</h2>Similar conditions were faced in 2022, ultimately leading to recovery but also being preceded by sustained stages of being flat lined and providing negative short-term rates of return. Lunde states that there are historical characteristics regarding this: • Period of Low Volatility Contraction (LVC). • Little to no speculative interest at the bottom of the market cycle. • Gradual Market Stabilization Enough to Reverse To Uptrend.
