DeepBrain Chain is a decentralized computing platform that integrates blockchain technology with artificial intelligence. Established in 2017, the project aims to build a global, infinitely scalable high-performance GPU computing network. Its primary mission is to provide affordable, secure, and privacy-protected computing resources for AI developers, researchers, and enterprises, addressing the high costs and resource shortages typically associated with large-scale AI training and inference. The infrastructure of DeepBrain Chain consists of three main components: a high-performance computing network, a dedicated blockchain mainnet, and a GPU computing mainnet. Originally launched on the NEO blockchain, the project has since transitioned to its own mainnet to enhance performance and scalability. This network functions by pooling idle GPU resources from around the world, creating a distributed cloud that offers a competitive alternative to traditional centralized cloud providers. The platform is designed to support a wide range of Web3 and AI-driven applications. Beyond AI model training and data processing, the project has expanded into sectors such as cloud gaming and visual rendering. Through partnerships like the DeepLink Protocol, it enables low-latency cloud gaming experiences by leveraging its distributed GPU nodes. Furthermore, the project has collaborated with major technology firms and blockchain ecosystems, such as Huawei and Polygon, to advance the development of the Metaverse and decentralized infrastructure. Within the ecosystem, the DBC token serves as the primary utility and governance asset. It is used to pay for computational services, facilitate data trading, and incentivize GPU providers. Miners must stake the token to offer their computing power to the network, which ensures network security and service quality. Additionally, the project utilizes a decentralized autonomous organization structure, where token holders can participate in governance by voting for council members who manage the community treasury and ecosystem development. DeepBrain Chain also emphasizes data privacy. It employs encryption and smart contracts to ensure that data owners can share their datasets for AI training without losing ownership or risking data leaks. This decentralized approach creates a more equitable distribution of resources, allowing smaller startups and academic institutions to access the computing power necessary for innovation in the artificial intelligence era.
