iNODEs (Infrastructure Nodes) serve as the backbone of the protocol, acting as validators and storage providers for game files; they currently receive the primary share of rewards. ggNODEs (Game Gateway Nodes) focus on the gaming layer and distribution. At present, the ecosystem's infrastructure and reward distribution are centered primarily on iNODE operations.
There is a fixed daily distribution of 250,000 MPRO tokens shared among all active iNODE providers. Your specific share depends on your earned 'credits,' which are based on uptime. A node can earn a maximum of 100 credits per 24-hour period. To be eligible for these daily rewards, a node must remain active for a minimum of 6 hours within each 24-hour cycle.
Running an iNODE requires a stable internet connection and sufficient disk space to store fragmented game assets. While participants can use a standard PC, many choose to use a Virtual Private Server (VPS) to ensure the mandatory minimum of 6 hours of uptime required every 24 hours to qualify for reward distributions.
