In 2021, the KNC token underwent a significant upgrade to enhance its flexibility and adaptability. This transition allowed the KyberDAO to have more control over the token's supply and minting mechanisms to better support innovation and ecosystem growth. The project was founded by Loi Luu and Victor Tran, who envisioned a world where any token could be used anywhere for payments and financial services through a decentralized liquidity hub.
