Illuvium Arena provides a competitive environment for tactical autobattler matches against other players. Additionally, Illuvium Zero is a base-building game where players manage land to produce resources that are used throughout the broader ecosystem. These titles are designed to be interoperable, meaning that assets and progress in one game can influence or be utilized in the others. Technologically, the project utilizes Immutable X, which is a layer-two scaling solution for Ethereum. This choice allows players to trade and mint in-game assets without paying high transaction fees, while still maintaining the security of the underlying blockchain. This infrastructure supports a player-owned economy where all items and creatures are owned exclusively by the participants. The project is governed by a Decentralized Autonomous Organization, or DAO. The ILV token is the primary tool for this governance system. Those who hold the token can vote for members of the Illuvinati Council, a group responsible for making key decisions about game updates, balance changes, and the future direction of the studio.
