The HLS token is integral to the network, serving multiple functions. It is used for transaction fees, validator staking, contributing to network security, and participating in governance decisions related to Helios-native indexes and automated products. Holders of HLS are also rewarded for maintaining the token in their wallets. Helios Blockchain aims to provide infrastructure for various decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
