ZoidPay is a Web3 financial services provider and crypto liquidity platform designed to bridge traditional finance with the digital asset economy. It enables users to spend cryptocurrency at any merchant accepting major cards via its Super App, debit cards, and browser extensions. Often described as a "Web3 Digital Bank," it offers services like multi-currency IBANs and crypto-backed loans. The project was founded in 2018 by Eduard Oneci (CEO) and Vasile Burcin (COO).

ZPAY is the native utility token of the ecosystem with a maximum supply capped at 700,000,000 tokens. It serves several core functions: staking in "Shopping Pools" to earn rewards, receiving cashback on purchases made through ZoidPay products, and qualifying for discounted service fees. Additionally, ZPAY facilitates DeFi activities, such as accessing crypto-backed loans and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services. While it launched on other chains, most utility now resides on the MultiversX network.

Shopping Pools are ZoidPay’s unique staking mechanism, acting as decentralized nodes that power the ecosystem's commerce layer. Users can delegate their ZPAY to these pools to earn rewards. While pool operators typically require a 100,000 ZPAY deposit, regular delegators generally have no minimum requirement. Staking rewards vary based on the specific pool and lock-up duration, and can be enhanced by Zoidster NFTs. Note that unstaking tokens usually involves a 10-day unbonding period before they become liquid.

The ecosystem features the "Super App," a central hub for non-custodial wallet management, fiat IBAN accounts, and a dApp marketplace. The ZoidPay Card enables real-time crypto-to-fiat conversion at the point of sale. Zoidster NFTs offer utility by boosting staking yields and providing zero-fee transactions for holders. Finally, the WAND token serves as the utility asset for the "Canary Network," which is used for governance and experimental DeFi features.

Yes, the ZoidPay wallet is non-custodial, meaning users maintain full control over their private keys and funds. For users holding legacy versions of the token from Ethereum or other chains, an official bridge is provided to migrate assets to the current MultiversX (ESDT) standard. This migration is essential for accessing the full range of utility, staking, and financial services offered within the modern ZoidPay environment.

ZPAY can be traded on prominent global platforms such as LBank. Looking ahead, the project is developing ZoidCore, a suite of APIs and SDKs allowing businesses to integrate Web3 payments with minimal code. While MultiversX remains the primary infrastructure, the roadmap includes expansion to other major networks like Ethereum and BNB Chain to increase liquidity and reach a broader user base across the decentralized finance landscape.
